Hawk Measurement Systems exhibiting level measurement sensors at GME show

Supplier News

Australian level measurement sensor manufacturer, Hawk Measurement Systems , will be exhibiting at the GME show in Kalgoorlie, WA, from 26-28 October.

Hawk Measurement Systems will be exhibiting the Sultan non contact self cleaning sensor, the Gladiator microwave switch, and the Orca sonar bed level.

The Sultan non contact self cleaning level measurement sensor is designed for to work in tough environments and applications involving:

  • dust
  • dust suppression sprays
  • condensation
  • slurry splash; and
  • sensor/face/cone buildup.
The Sultan level measurement sensor's low frequency transducers create a huge acoustic wave that provides a self cleaning action, preventing build-up and resulting in a maintenance free level sensor.

The Gladiator microwave switch can be used in any application where microwave energy is aborted by the material being monitored, including replacement of traditional contact switching devices. It is also ideal for point level switching for presence or absence of most solid and liquid materials.

The Orca sonar bed level will measure up to two density interfaces simultaneously, either bed level or RAS blanket and floc/fluff layer or clarity of water. The Orca sonar range of measurement sensors has been developed to control the process, whereas most other sonar products are good for monitoring purposes only.
