Hargil Dynamics now offers Baldor AC flux vector & inverter motors. These quality items are wound with Inverter Spike Resistant (ISR) wire, which is up to 100 times more resistant to transient spikes, high frequencies, and short rise time pulses commonly produced by inverters.
Constructed from cast iron for high durability in arduous industrial applications, these vector & inverter motors boast a premium energy efficient design. They utilise Class H insulation systems which reduce operating costs and increase motor life.
ZDMM vector & inverter motors are fitted with a 1024 line encoder as standard. This feature provides feedback information for vector drive applications. In addition, thermostats are provided between phases in the windings. Thermostats open at elevated temperatures and offer a warning as the system approaches temperature limits. For inverter drive applications no encoder is required.
TEBC (Totally Enclosed Blower Cooled) motors are designed for use indoors or outdoors in environments where humidity, dirt, lint or other contaminants may be present. A constant velocity fan provides optimum cooling at all motor speeds. And TENV (Totally Enclosed Non Ventilated) motors are rated for operation without a cooling fan.
Vector motors provide full torque from zero to full speed when used in conjunction with Baldor VSIGV vector drives.
