Waterproof EC/TDS/temperature meters

Hanna Instruments Water Analysis Division has released the HI 99300 and HI 99301 meters, combining measurements of conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS) and temperature. The housing is water-resistant and rated for IP 67 conditions.

The meters are designed for quick and easy field operation. The HI 76306 probe measures EC/TDS and temperature in one rugged unit. EC (or TDS) and temperature readings are displayed simultaneously. Symbols and messages on the LCD indicate the meter status and guide the user through operations. At start-up, the meter shows the remaining battery percentage and when a low battery condition is detected, a battery symbol appears on the LCD to advise the user that only a few hours of working time are left. The meters are also provided with a battery error prevention system, which turns the meter off when the battery level is too low, to assure reliable readings. Calibration is a single-point automatic procedure and measurements are automatically compensated for temperature variations. The compensation coefficient and the EC/TDS conversion factor are user-selectable. All settings and calibration data remain in memory when changing batteries.
