Hanna Instruments Water Analysis Division has released the HI 9146, a water-resistant, microprocessor-based dissolved oxygen meter with automatic calibration and temperature compensation (ATC).
Dissolved oxygen measurements can be displayed in parts per million or in percentageof saturation. The temperature range is indicated from 0 to 50°C with 0.1 resolution. The meter also allows manual compensation of altitude and salinity values. The polarographic probe, supplied with the instrument, is provided with a protective cover for the membrane. A hold button allows the user to freeze the reading on the LCD. The HI 9146 can be powered with two batteries or through a 12V dc adapter.
The HI 9146-04 is supplied with a HI 76407/4F probe with a 4m cable and a protective cap, two spare membranes, 30 mL of HI 7041S electrolyte solution, batteries, a hard carrying case and instructions. The HI 9146-10 is supplied with a HI 76407/10F probe with a 10m cable and a protective cap, two spare membranes, 30 mL of HI 7041S electrolyte solution, batteries, a hard carrying case and instructions.
