The advanced Hanna Instruments electronics inside the thermometers linearises measurements taken with the NTC thermistor sensor. These portable instruments are engineered with large backlit displays to permit use even in dimly lit conditions. The meters incorporate the latest in GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) technology. At the touch of a button, you can retrieve the date and the details of last calibration. A host of default parameters are user-adjustable. HI 98710 is a single channel unit, while HI 98740 can incorporate up to 4 temperature probes. Printing intervals are user-selectable from 1 to 180 minutes. If more than one probe is in use, the printer will label the data of each probe. The interchangeable HI 762 sensors come preselected with a maximum interchangeability error of ±0.2°C. The probe handles are colour coded also to avoid cross contamination of samples an important plus in the food sector. Both models can be powered with batteries or through the 12 Vdc input.

HI 98710 is supplied complete with HI 762BL temperature probe with 1 m cable, 5 paper rolls, batteries, rugged carrying case and instructions. HI 98740 is supplied with 5 paper rolls, batteries, rugged carrying case and instructions.
