HANNA Instruments Process Division has released a range of heavy-duty amplified process electrodes for aggressive applications, such as with organic compounds, proteins and heavy metals.

The electrodes use flat tip technology, virtually eliminating deposits that can foul the electrode and significantly reducing maintenance. Each electrode has an inbuilt matching pin, to discriminate between true pH value and interferences caused by stray voltages which may exist within the process. The electrodes have a replaceable battery to power the amplifier.

The pH electrodes are also available with an inbuilt three-wire PT100 sensor for automatic temperature compensation. The electrodes have an annular non-clogging Teflon junction and are manufactured with glass sensors developed for specific applications. These include general purpose, high temperature, low temperature and acid samples with fluoride to 2g/L.

The ORP electrodes are available with either platinum or gold sensors. All of the process probes are suitable for use to six bar and have a 19.05mm NPT external thread on both ends for easy installation into submersion, in-line or bypass fittings.
