HI93703 measures turbidity from 0 to 1000 FTU (NTU). For best accuracy, HI93703 measures from 0.00 to 50.00 FTU in steps of 1/100th of FTU. The meter meets ISO 7027 requirements.
HI93703 is equipped with an infra-red LED light source. Unlike standard lamps, the infra-red LED has a long life and maintains constant emission for the life of the instrument.
The wavelength peaks at 890nm, which provides the required intensity of diffused light even in samples with low turbidity values, and also reduces the interference from colours.
The meter has 3-point calibration and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) circuitry automatically stores and retrieves the last calibration date and data, which can be displayed at the touch of a button.
The meter uses polymer calibration standards at 0 FTU, 10 FTU and 500 FTU.
The meter is supplied in a rugged carrying case complete with measurement cuvet and cap, HI93703-0 and HI93703-10 calibration solutions, HI93703-50 cuvet cleaning solution, HI731318 glass cleaning cloth, 4 x 1.5V AA batteries and instruction manual.
