Hanna Instruments Laboratory Division has released the HI 84100 low-cost, easy to use, microprocessor-based automatic titrator. It has a simple and reliable peristaltic pump that ensures high dosing repeatability.
Performing pump calibration with the provided Hanna standards assures the instrument’s accuracy. A pre-programmed analysis method is designed for free and total sulphur dioxide measurements on wine samples. A built-in algorithm allows analysis of the shape of the electrode response and determining the reaction completion. This algorithm automates the analysis, makes all the necessary calculations and assures a simple and effective interface for the user. By simply pressing the start/stop button, the instrument will automatically make the titration up to the equivalence point. The result is immediately displayed in convenient units and the instrument is ready for another titration.
Each HI 84100 mini-titrator is supplied complete with reagents set for 20 titrations, two 50mL beakers, two 20mL beakers, scissors, a tube set with cap, an ORP probe, a stir bar, a power cable, one 30mL bottle of refill solution, one 1mL syringe, two sachets of cleaning solution for wine deposits, two sachets of cleaning solution for wine stains and an instruction manual.
