Hanna Instruments Laboratory Division has released the HI 120 and HI 121, pH meters that offer automatic calibration in up to five points.
The calibration phase is very important in pH measurement and it is often necessary for the user to measure extreme pH values or values far from standard calibration buffers. Users of the HI 120 and HI 121 can select each point from among the seven factory-stored values and up to two more values manually entered for specific applications. The Calibration Check feature allows good calibration results to be easily viewed directly on the display with the percentage information regarding electrode condition and response. Both meters comply with GLP. HI 121 can also perform ORP and ion-selective measurements, and store data that can be easily downloaded to a PC thanks to an RS232 port and optional HI 92000 software.
The HI 120 is supplied with the HI 1131P pH electrode, the HI 7662-T temperature probe, pH 4 and pH 7 buffers, electrolyte solution, a 12V dc power adapter and instructions. The HI 121 is supplied complete with the HI 1131P pH electrode, the HI 7662-T temperature probe, pH 4 and pH 7 buffers, electrolyte solution, a 12V dc power adapter and instructions.
