Hanna Instruments Laboratory Division has released the HI 112 and HI 113 bench pH meters, designed for those users that require the highest level of precision over the entire pH range. The meters are suitable for challenging measurement applications where the sample pH will vary greatly.
Depending on the level of precision required the user can select pH resolutions 0.01 or 0.001. The meters can sustain the selected level of precision over the entire range as they can perform an automatic five-point calibration, choosing the most suitable buffers among seven memorised values (pH 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01 and 12.45). If memorised buffer values are not the most ideal for an application the HI 112 and HI 113 will allow the user to manually set two custom pH values for calibration. The instruments also have an extended temperature range from -9.9 to 120°C, GLP functions, manual or automatic temperature compensation and an RS232 serial port for PC connection using the HI 92000 application software.
The HI 112 and HI 113 are supplied with the HI 1131B pH electrode, HI 7669/2W temperature probe, pH 4 and pH 7 buffer sachets (20 mL each), electrode refilling solution, an electrode holder, a 12V dc power adapter and instructions.
