Metal detection equipment is critically important to food processing and packaging lines as it is used for the detection of potentially harmful metal contaminants that are regularly triggering expensive product recalls.   Accuweigh has a long association with supplying metal detection equipment for food inspection in the Australian market and our metal detection equipment is available to suit all types of industries. All models are fully housed in stainless steel with various sealing ratings from IP65, IP67 and also the very highest waterproofing standard, IP69K.

Metal Detection for Fresh Foods and Dry Foods: 

Accuweigh’s latest generation metal detectors can be used for products on conveyor belts, monular chain and in vertical piping from existing vertical packers. All types are available in either multi-frequency or dedicated frequency versions to suit the clients needs. 

Extremely high detection abilities are guaranteed by:

Automatic calibration systems
High resolution phase adjustment (HRPR)
Elimination of the product effected

A full range of ejection systems are dedicated to non-packed products to guarantee flexibility of use.
