Leading provider of electro-chemicals for the global electronics industry, Electrolube has achieved record results for the year ended 31st December 2011 with a year-on-year increase in sales of 24% in Europe alone compared to 2010.
This performance also makes 2011 the highest turnover year in the company’s 70-year history.
Overall turnover increased by 10% last year, the biggest on record, which was achieved during a substantial year-long move to a new manufacturing and production facility in Leicestershire, UK.
The buoyant sales growth is a direct result of new product development in tune with industry trends in addition to extending the company’s product portfolio with key distributors.
New products with improved environmental properties introduced in 2011 included the EADH air duster and FREH refrigerant, a new silicone range, surface mount products, resins and new conformal coatings. The company is consequently expanding its R&D Department in 2012 to increase product innovation.
Changes to the Sales team have also had a beneficial impact on the company’s burgeoning industry profile.
According to Ron Jakeman, Managing Director of Electrolube, the growth will enable the company to continue to deliver cutting edge new products to the market and ensure high standards of technical expertise and service.
Electrolube forecasts 10% growth in Europe this year. With offices in Brazil, China, Australia, USA, Germany and France, the electro-chemicals manufacturer expects to see continued growth of products throughout the year, particularly those developed specifically for LED applications.
Electrolube is a key division of HK Wentworth .
