Calibration resources and capabilities of HK Calibrations (Aust)
ISO/IEC 17025 is a global standard for technical competence of testing laboratories. This standard directs calibration labs and establishes documentation, quality system and personnel requirements. ISO/IEC 17025 analyses the uncertainty of every measurement, incorporates the uncertainty into test limits and test procedures. Calibration labs also provide the uncertainties with calibration results and certificates.
The accuracy of the measurement gets qualified by reporting the uncertainty and also helps to understand the results when the comparisons between the results from different labs are made. The ratio of specification to calibration uncertainty is an effective tool to gauge the performance of products.
ISO 17025 is one of the most important metrology standards for measuring and testing measurement products. All the national standard accreditation agencies and bodies around the world have adopted ISO 17025. ISO 17025 has also been incorporated by few industries and growing number of companies have incorporated into sector-specific standards.
Calibration Capabilities of HK Calibrations (Aust) include DC voltage measuring equipment, AC voltage measuring equipment, AC current measuring equipment, DC current measuring equipment, resistance measuring equipment, wattmeters, power supplies and stabilisers, electrical simulation and calibration of thermocouples, mechanical measuring equipment, temperature measuring equipment, bio medical equipment and telecommunication.
