Krauss Maffei Extrusion of Munich, Germany, has been chosen to supply two profile extrusion lines to a prominent plastic producer in West Africa.
Consolidating its working relationship with the company, Interplast Ltd of Ghana has ordered an additional two profile extrusion lines from Krauss Maffei, which will work alongside an existing Krauss Maffei corrugated pipe extrusion system, profile extrusion line and a raw material pelletizing solution.
The two new profile extrusion lines will be used to manufacture PVC panels for wall and ceiling panelling with widths of up to 100mm, and will consist of two conical twin-screw KMD 63K/P extruders.
Interplast produce a range of plastics products on Krauss Maffei machinery for their local market and for export to more than 20 other countries throughout Africa.
Commenting on the company's ongoing relationship with Krauss Maffei, Interplast CEO Arthur Huberts said that "with the profile production system from Krauss Maffei, we know we are dealing with a partner who supplies us with all the relevant components from a single source. Furthermore, the price performance ratio is just right."
