QuickSwitch Pipe Extrusion Technology by Krauss Maffei

  • QuickSwitch enables the dimensions (diameter and wall section) of extruded plastic pipe to be changed on the fly, at the touch of a button – without interrupting the extrusion process
  • All of the parameters needed for an in-line dimension change are stored in the QuickSwitch control unit
  • The system is used in the manufacture of Polyolefin and PVC pipes
  • The system can be shipped as a fully automated complete package or as an upgrade kit for existing extrusion lines
