Intravis Vision Systems of Germany has released the CrownWatcher – an automated vision inspection system which ensures that closures are perfectly applied to bottles/jars.
CrownWatcher inspects the complete neck area of a bottle or jar and can process up to 1,200 objects per minute. When the position, identity or quality of a cap is not correct, the defective products are ejected, without interrupting the production.
The system also checks the following:
- Wrong closure / identity (colour/print)
- Damaged or Missing tamper evident band
- Elevated tamper evident band
- Crooked closure
- Bullnose or domed top
Setup can be achieved in minutes with user friendly intuitive features including SQC functions. Easy to use variable parameter settings and RFID operator access ensures complete integrity/security for on-line alteration to parameters and data history/tracking is standard. Custom built solutions are also available for special applications
