HBM Packaging Technologies appointed as sales partner of R. A. Jones & Co
R. A. Jones & Co. Inc. of Covington, USA, has appointed HBM Packaging Technologies as its sales partner in Australia and New Zealand, for their range of Beverage Multi-packers for glass and cans, and cartoning, pouching and sleeving machinery for the Food, Consumer Products and Pharmaceutical industries.
Jones views HBM as its ideal partner in expanding its market base in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands; and to further service the machine base of over 30 units already installed in the local market.
Jones offers state-of-the-art packaging equipment for a wide range of applications.
Cartoning:
The Jones range of Cartoners, including the Legend, Meridian, Criterion, Centurion, and Maxim lines, span from hand-loaded equipment to fully automated high speed constant or intermittent motion machines. The new addition is a Top Load Robotic Cartoner, capable of running an expansive range of both standard and unique package formats at speeds of up to 120 packages per minute, positive package control through the entire machine, and configurable for various product shapes, orientations, layering, counts, and speeds.
Pouching:
At speeds of up to 2000 pouches per minute, the continuous motion horizontal form/fill/seal Pouch King has earned an enviable reputation for its speed, reliability and ease of operation. Introduced in 2006, the new Jones Adjustable Pouch King combines the first of its kind pouch size flexibility with high-speed, state-of-the-art sealing technology.
Sleeving:
The Jones Wraptor machines are a family of reliable, high speed paperboard multipack wrap solutions designed to suit a wide range of applications including a variety of products, packaging styles and configurations.
In addition to new equipment sales, the Jones after-market services group offers the comprehensive customer support in the industry, from installation and training to programs for conversions and updates, rebuilds and preventative maintenance.
HBM sees the Jones range of packaging equipment as being an exciting addition to the portfolio of food and beverage packaging, and end-of-line machinery currently offered by the company.
