H2O Rx’s retractable injection quills improve the safety of operators who are installing and maintaining chemical dosing point injectors whilst the main remains online.
H2O Rx’s range of 150 psi rated retractable injection quills manufactured by Saf-T-Flo allow operators to remove and insert alloy solution tubes made from either Hastelloy-C, Alloy 20, Titanium, or Stainless Steel for inspection or replacement purposes, while the main remains in service. No shutdown is required.
These retractable injection quills are available with or without a ball check valve, with some models even including an integrated injection check valve.
A single stainless steel hook and chain locks the solution tube securely to the main connection. Conveniently, the stainless steel limit chain of this retractable injection quill will stop the solution tube from extending past the main connection during withdrawal.
The solution tube adapter and packing nut thread together in the retractable injection quill, while at the same time compressing the 300 series o-ring against the outer diameter of the solution tube.
Other features of the 150psi rated retractable injection quill include: a brass “BallCorp” stop, brass solution tube adaptor, brass packing nut, 300 series o-ring gasket, 150 psi rated stainless steel restraint hook, and a stainless steel limit chain.
