H2O Rx launches injection equipment for municipal water

water treatment, chemical storage and handling, is launching their new range of injection equipment for municipal water and waste water chemical dosing systems.
Chemical injection is an important component of a well designed chemical feed system. H20 Rx’s new range specialises in municipal chemical injection. It allows the operator to withdraw or insert the quill (or solution tube) into the water main while under pressure and without having to shut down the main.
Important factors, such as chemical solution, concentration, materials of construction, solution flow rates, water main pressure, and maximum pump discharge pressure can have a significant impact on the safety, maintenance, operation, and service life of the chemical feed system. Engineering specifications and AutoCAD drawings are available from H2O Rx to support Application Engineers.
The new range of injection equipment fulfil these important factors for a chemical feed system and include chemical injector quills, corporation stops (hot removable quills), chemical diffusers, chemical injection nozzles, flanged injectors, injection assemblies, and sampling probes.
Applications include chemical feed systems, chlorination, dechlorination, open channels, pump stations, wastewater treatment, water storage, and water treatment.
The range is chemically compatible with alum, ammonia hydroxide, aqua ammonia, bromine, chlorine solution, citric acid, corrosion inhibitor, ferric chloride, fluoride, hydrofluosilicic acid, lime slurry, muriatic acid, powdered activated carbon, polymer, potassium permanganate, sodium bisulphate, sodium bisulphite, sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite, and sulphuric acid.
Materials of construction include PVC, CPVC (Corzan), Alloy 20, Alloy C-276 (Hastelloy), 316 Stainless Steel, and Titanium Grade 2. Injection discharge line sizes range from ¼” to 2 ½” and Main connections range from ½” to 3”.
