Grundfos Pumps has extended it's congratulations to Nick Bray from Goulburn Valley Water and Paulus des Anges of Grundfos Pumps, who were announced as the winners of the 2008 Kwatye Prize at the WIOA's Annual Victorian Engineers and Operator Conference, held in September. The Kwatye Prize program is dedicated to improving knowledge and sharing innovative ideas between WIOA members
and the wider water community.
Their winning submission was titled 'The Water Harvester: Investigations into harvesting water from atmospheric humidity'. The submission outlines Nick Bray and Paulus des Anges plan to build a Pilot Plant Water Harvester. This works on the simple principle of condensing water vapour from air by reducing its temperature.
