Grip Guard Non Slip stair nosings were recently installed at a large university in Melbourne. The university required a stair nosing with the highest available slip resistance as well as a photo luminescent strip designed to provide high visibility in little or no light.
With R13 rated carborundum inserts, the safety stair nosings provide optimal slip resistance for external conditions. Their unique design conceals any unsightly screws to ensure the stair nosings can not be tampered with. Carborundum inserts are available in safety yellow, grey and black. Grip Guard anti-slip safety stair nosings are also available with R-10 rated polymeric inserts for internal applications. Polymeric inserts are available in ivory, black, safety yellow, grey and red.

Grip Guard’s ‘carpet application’ stair nosings are manufactured with reinforcement bars on the underside of the stair nosings to increase rigidity and strength on carpeted stairs. Stair nosings without this reinforcement are likely to bend due to the flexure that occurs on a softer surface like carpet.
All Grip Guard anti-slip safety stair nosings are supplied pre-drilled and pre-cut for ease of installation or the nosings can be installed by Grip Guard.
