Griffiths Components has released a new type of polyurethane tube for pneumatic applications that offers two advantages.
Firstly, all the different colour shades are transparent, allowing visual inspection of the content of the tube.
Secondly, all colours are U.V. stabilised, allowing them to be used outdoors. Typically only black tubes could be U.V. stabilised, which means easy to identify colours were not an option.
This elastollan 1198 polyurethane has a working pressure range of up to 10 bar, and temperature range of -40 degrees C to +60 degrees C. It is resistant to a broad range of chemicals, and abrasion.
It offers flexibility, though is still hard enough to be used with push-in fittings or vacuum.
Lastly, it is packed in a clever storage box, which keeps the roll of tube neat, and holds the loose end in an easy to locate spot, making dispensing simple.
All the tube is European made, and is available both in single lines and multi-tubes, welded together.
