Once you have determined that fibreglass grating is the best material for your application, it is important to remember that all fibreglass grating is not equal.

Differences in glass content, resin quality and manufacturing processes can create different levels of strength and corrosion resistance even with the same types of products.

The Grating Company uses only the finest materials available to create products of superior quality. All products are manufactured to ISO9002.

The images show our standard stock colours and is available in 25mm & 38mm thicknesses. Our grating can be made to any colour in the RAL range.

Product Features

Fire Resistant - Our fibreglass grating has been tested in accordance with the ASTM-E-84 tunnel test method and has achieved a class 1 flame spread rating or less.
Our entire range of gratings are fire resistant
Chemical Resistant - Fibreglass grating is corrosion resistant over a wide pH range both acidic and caustic. This corrosion resistance is achieved by the use of premium grade resins. Please ask for a copy of our chemical resistance data.
Our grating will out-perform metallic grating many times over and its chemical inertia gives it an exceptionally long life
Slip Resistant - The slip resistant feature of fibreglass grating is created during the moulding process when the top surface naturally shrinks back to create a concave effect surface. This provides positive traction over a wide range of environmental conditions such as wet or oily surfaces. A hard wearing quartz grit is then added for heavy duty applications, providing an extended life and maximum anti-slip properties
Impact Resistant - Fibreglass grating will allow repeated deflection without permanent deformation. Deflection will occur with the impact of a heavy object. However, once the object is removed, fibreglass grating will return to its original shape and position, unlike metallic grating which will remain deformed. This eliminates the need for costly replacement gratings.
