This year’s Ozwater Convention and Exhibition, organised by the Australian Water Association, was held at the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre, with around 4000 visitors from the Australian water industry.
The visitors primarily consisted of delegates and trade visitors from organisations such as manufacturing, local government, consulting engineers and contractors.
At a time when water consumption and quality is becoming more and more important, the Ozwater Convention and Exhibition conveniently brings together visitors and suppliers within the water industry to meet, network and transfer knowledge.
More importantly, it is a way in which suppliers can present their water quality, monitoring and measurement products while providing face to face contact to the many visitors who are able to find all their water needs in one place.
The exhibition is particularly of interest and important to water treatment and irrigation application markets.
This year, Tyco Water was one of four gold sponsors of the Ozwater Exhibition. The Tyco Water stand consisted of environmental systems, pipeline systems, pumping systems, valves and controls.
Each division of Tyco had their own section within the large stand, to display their water products.
Tyco Environmental Systems had the opportunity to display water flow and water quality monitoring products to the water industry. The stand displayed Greenspan analytical sensors, the mini analyser and the combined instrument systems Magflow meters.
The goal was to increase awareness of brands, strengthen the ties with existing contacts, and to make new contacts with businesses in the industry.
The show was an overall success for Tyco Environmental Systems, and many new leads were developed by the staff including Chris Shorey, Matt Gittoes, Patrick Heller and David Pickering. They reported an overall great interest shown in the products.
