Bob Smith, the inventor of the RotaTherm direct steam injection continuous cooking system will be at the AMI show along with a RotaTherm cooker.

Viewers can find them both at AMI show in Chicago, Illinois from October 24-27, 2007 on the Scan American Corporation booth N-866.

With the RotaTherm cooker, ingredients are cooked in a single pass by injecting steam into the product as it is being mixed while moving up the cooking column.

Food processors use the RotaTherm system to produce taco meat, pie fills, processed cheese, baby food, meat by-products, pet food and more.

A trial RotaTherm system is based at Scan American Corporation in Kansas City.

RotaTherm systems are designed and manufactured by Gold Peg International, Australia.

Scan American Corporation officially represents the RotaTherm technology in the USA.
