GOLD Peg International (GPI) has appointed Shane Enayati to its Melbourne-based team.
Enayati will focus on introducting of GPI's aseptic RotaTherm system into the global market. Prior to joining GPI, he has had a career in food equipment manufacturing, with experience in aseptic processing, process design, plant commissioning and process control and interfacing.
He will serve the growing technical breadth of client demand and ongoing support of internal R&D developments. He will provide technical experience to GPI clients, agents and suppliers.
He will lead project design, management, installation and commissioning and offer process assistance to commercialise GPI's R&D portfolio.
In response to growing market demand, GPI recently doubled its workshop capacity, which incorporated expansion of the technical, R&D and manufacturing departments.
The RotaTherm cooker is designed to process a range of products from soups to heavily viscous products. It has no burn-on and minimal particulate degradation and can process these difficult to handle pumpable products. Steam is fused directly with the product and management of the variable speed agitation in the cooking column ensures there is no over or under-cooking. The lack of buildup in the system allows nonstop runs of up to 72 hours without clean up, whilst achieving pasteurisation, UHT or aseptic parameters.
