GLYN Introduces EDT TFT Family Concept Display Systems for Easier Product Designs

With the end user in mind, Glyn High-Tech Distribution have created a family of LCD display systems designed to be compatible with one another allowing for the user to design products with ease. The TFT display system family have been fitted with custom Glyn boards on the reverse side, ensuring that all LCD display systems have identical interfaces. These LCD display systems all have LED backlighting powered by a single 3.3V and uses only one cable to receive signals.

The TFT LCD display systems are available in a range of sizes from 3.5" to 7" and resolutions from 320 x 240 to 800 x 480. Additionally all LCD display systems have been designed with a flexible and easy upgrade path, a touch panel option, and minimised noise level with smart PCB design

LCD Display System Features

Operating temperature of -20º to 70°C
Optional touch panel for all modules
LED backlight with a lifetime of 40k hours @ 25°C
40-pin ZIF connector
All modules have a compatible interface (exception are 4.3” and 7.0”models)
3.3V single supply
Onboard LED driver
Optional bypass of LED driver for direct access to LED
Analogue or PWM dimming
Large dimming range
Integrated touch panel signals on main interface
Slim build
Optional mounting lugs for 5.7” modules
Standard CMOS 18-Bit interface (DCLK, HSYNC, VSYNC)
Connection between GND and metal frame
