Australian pump specialist Global Pumps launched the new SlurryPro super-duty slurry pump at the AIMEX mining exhibition in August this year.
Product Manager Darren Seeley described the launch as a huge success, especially within the Australian mining sector.
Built on years of research and customer feedback on prototypes, the SlurryPro is gearing up for full production at its manufacturing plant in Argentina.
Designed for the mining industry, SlurryPro centrifugal pumps are extremely robust, and feature super-duty reinforced casings and run-cool bearing housing. The slurry pump’s high resistance to abrasion allows it to move mud and mineral slurries.
SlurryPro slurry pumps have an external adjustment of the impeller to ensure maximum efficiency at all times, and come with a range of alternate sealing options.
Technical specifications of the SlurryPro pump series include max flow of 1500m³/ hr (standard pump); discharge head: 150m; max power: 450 hp (standard pump); and cast iron construction with impeller and an interior lining made of high chrome or a specially formulated Unique Elastomeric Compound (known as UEC). The pumps are also optionally available with elastomers for high resistance to abrasion.
