GLOBAL Cold Chain Solutions has released the ThermoCheck hand-held temperature measuring unit, providing a complete traceable system for product and process validation used in HACCP compliance quality systems. It is suitable for chefs and food safety auditors.
The multi-purpose handheld temperature measuring instrument will automatically capture HACCP temperature data at multiple locations. A customisable database supports up to 20 processes per product type provides flexibility for the user, with the option to input corrective actions.
A range of external probe options is available, with a K type general purpose probe suitable to measure temperatures between -30ºC and 500ºC.
The instrument connects to any PC with its interface cable to manage product data. Its software provides facilities for data retrieval, analysis and storage. The software also allows the user to configure ThermoCheck's database of products, processes or locations together with specifications such as temperature acceptance bands.
Its 1MB memory is non-volatile, which means that no data is lost if batteries are removed or run out. Built-in security features ensure that only authorised people have access to the recorded data and database configuration.
