The Glass & Glazing Association of Australia
aims to promote the business and trade interests of its members, who are involved in Australia’s glass and glazing industry.
The association promotes the interests of all those involved in the glass and glazing industry, from manufacturers, processors, importers and processors through to installers, glaziers and suppliers of glass and glazing products.
The association has a membership base of over 600, and readily provides each of these members with information, support and education.
Comprised of state and territory associations, the association works closely with each of these for the benefit of members.
It facilitates the development of improved working conditions for those who are employed in the glass and glazing industry, and is involved in submitting policy to government and other regulatory bodies.
The association organises meetings on a regular basis, with the aim of providing its members with the opportunity to discuss matters affecting, and of relevance to, the glass and glazing industry.
It is responsible for regularly distributing news and information to its members, and produces Glass Australia Magazine on a quarterly basis.
This publication addresses new glazing technologies and is comprised of detailed case studies, industry news, feature articles and event information.
The association offers its members training programs specifically related to the glass and glazing industry. These cater to both industry newcomers and industry professionals looking to enhance their skills.
The association encourages members to comply with the Safety & Energy Standards formulated specifically for the glass and glazing industry. These are designed for the benefit of both members and the clients who they provide their services to.
