Genie Australia has opened a new facility in Perth to bring its entire WA operation under one roof.
As the Australian access market gains strength on the back of the thriving mining and building sectors, Genie in Western Australia has relocated to a comprehensive new complex.
Situated in the industrial hub of Perth at Welshpool, Genie has taken sole occupancy of a 6500m² site.
Genie’s relocation has been completed with minimal disruption to customer service. According to WA Regional Sales Manager Peter Stephens, Genie is now better positioned to provide customers with a consolidated and seamless support function.
According to Stephens, the new facility houses all of their core functions including sales, administration, service and parts supply as well as an excellent service training facility.
The Welshpool location is particularly well connected with easy access to Perth’s major arterial roads as well as close proximity to the Perth domestic and international airport.
Customers who visit the Genie Facility mostly come to collect parts. With the entire Genie operations consolidated at the one site, the parts customer will be able to seek service direction from the service technicians who will be readily available to assist.
Stock of new Genie products is also being warehoused at the Welshpool location.
Genie is a leading access equipment supplier to the Australian market as well as a world leader in the production of material lifts, portable aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, self-propelled telescopic booms and articulated booms.
Genie Australia is a wholly owned division of the US-based Terex Corporation.
