THE new generation of Genat & Wood series of helical geared motors, has material and design enhancements offering higher strength and longer life.
The company uses materials of superior strength such as SG iron castings, and ANSI-4140 shafting.
The gearboxes have a higher minimum bearing life at service factor one (FS=1.0) than many of the other brands on the Australian market, and are available as standard specification or can be modified to individual requirements.
Capacities are range from 0.37kW to 132kW, all utilising standard IEC flanged motors.
The enhanced range is complemented by one of the largest planetary gearbox manufactures in the world, Reggiana Riduttori. The series 2000 Reggiana planetary gearbox offers significantly increased output torque over the previous series, but with the same dimensions, and is completely interchangeable with comparable models.
Typical applications extend from wind generators and tyre shredders in the energy and environmental sectors, to processing materials handling and machine tools, to quarry and mining equipment.
These gearboxes are suitable where customers require more performance from their machinery.
To service our market completely, Genat & Wood has created alliances with a number of international companies, including Varmec, Tramec, TLS, Reggiana Speed Selector, Alliance and Emilplanet.
These quality alliances enable Genat & Wood to supply a full range of helical gear units, parallel shaft helical gear units, planetary reduction gears, parallel shaft helical bevel gear units, helical in-line gear units, right angled worm box, planetary gear boxes, and variable pitch pulleys.
