The GEMÜ 3021 intelligent turbine flow transmitter can be used to measure liquid, inert and corrosive aqueous media.

Moreover, the new device now includes an integrated totalising and batch control function (totalizer / batch controller). One of these two functions may be selected optionally, thus enabling, for example, continuous querying of accrued quantities and individually programmed maximum quantities to trigger a control pulse. The device variant with a batch control function can be programmed with individual container quantities / batches and the filling valve control system can be activated manually and / or by remote impulse. Its basis is formed by a high-resolution turbine wheel principle which registers the entire volume flow profile and translates the impulses to the display using intelligent electronics and / or further processing contrary to other function principles. The flow rectifiers which are integrated on both sides make only a short inlet distance or outlet distance necessary. The 3021 is operated using a stable membrane key-pad. The devices are factory pre-calibrated so that the user only has to select the functions / quantities required. Parameterization is menu-guided and easy to understand, thus making the GEMÜ 3021 device suitable for use in the area of final industrial filling and not merely within closed processes. All turbine parts are made of chemically highly resistant PVDF, the housing conveying the media is made of impact resistant PVC or PVDF. Installation in the pipeline is made using threaded spigots with union ends. This explains why the device has a short construction length and needs neither additional adapters nor installation aids. Moreover it can be removed using union nuts. Its operating voltage is 24 V/DC, the signal outputs are 0-10V, 0/4 - 20 mA or relay output. Furthermore, the turbine flow transmitter has a remote control input and can be activated via remote switching, PLC or other pulse sensors. Electrical connections are made using 2 connector sockets. Protection class IP 65 is applied.
