Gav's Test and Tag inspect and test all electrical appliances in accordance with the Australian Standards AS/NZ3760.
Inspection process involves physical inspection, insulation tests, earth circuit testing, continuity testing, functional testing, polarity testing and visual inspection as per AS3760.
Gav's Test and Tag check for:
- obvious external damage
- defects in accessories, plugs or socket outlets
- exposed inner cords, cut, abraded or damaged external sheath
- tangled cords or ones exposed to tripping
- flexible leads are anchored or not
- power boards and whether indicators for maximum loads are visible and legible
