Gamma Solutions will participate in the Future Logistics Living Lab which is designed to investigate real world problems by using innovative technology to help solve some of the issues facing the Logistics Industry, in particular the supply chain.
“Gamma Solutions is proud to be involved with the Future Logistics Living Lab Project,” said Michael Atallah Managing Director of Gamma Solutions Pty Ltd.
“We believe it provides the perfect platform for Gamma Solutions to demonstrate to a variety of industries how new technologies such as RFID and Voice Picking can help optimise workflow, specifically the flow of information between the different nodes of a supply chain.”
The Lab is a collaborative project between leading logistics companies, universities, research organisations and IT providers and is located at NICTA’s Australian Technology Park in Sydney.
Participants of the Living Lab project include Linfox, Hamburg Sud, Casella Wines, Ericsson, GS1 Australia, Google, Tradegate, XAct Solutions, Victoria University and the University of New South Wales.
“We are confident that the collaboration between industries and researchers in projects such as the Future Logistics Living Labs, in conjunction with organisations such as GS1, will display how the supply chain industry can revolutionise the way we conduct business and achieve the optimum goal of increasing both productivity and accuracy,” Atallah said.
