Galvin Engineering is working together with Soapstream on a unique initiative to improve hand hygiene among children everywhere.
Lack of hand hygiene results in the transmission and spread of germs and bacteria. This initiative will make available an easier and more hygienic way to improve hand hygiene in schools and other high risk public areas.
The unique Soapstream system is designed to ensure that users have constant access to soap, which has not been in contact with any surface that may be contaminated with germs and bacteria.
Taking into account the difficulties of maintaining soap in these environments, the soap pallet is encased in a vandal-resistant housing situated under the tap’s water flow, providing facilities using this system an easier and more cost effective alternative to maintaining hand washing areas.
The tapware has the ability to be calibrated to operate for 5, 7, 10 or 15 seconds, saving water and energy.
Galvin Engineering specialises in a range of customised commercial water control products including commercial drainage products, commercial tapware and valves among others.
