GS1 Australia announces the entry of Stibo Systems Pty Ltd, a global leader in strategic information management solutions into the GS1 Alliance Partner Program as a Business Alliance Partner.
GS1 Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that administers the GS1 numbering system and GS1net datapool service to assist Australian retailers, distributors, manufacturers and Government organisations exchange high-quality supply chain information. GS1net enables product master data including descriptions, pricing, weights and dimensions to be exchanged between suppliers and retailers faster and more accurately.
According to Ms Joseli Munive, National Manager of Alliances & ICT Industry at GS1 Australia, Stibo Systems’ decision to sign-up as a Business Alliance Partner indicates significant commitment and an affirmation of their investment in Australia, as they have done globally in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, and Brazil.
Mr Mark Fuller, GS1 Australia’s COO adds that Stibo Systems’ commitment to become a GS1net Certified Product Partner is excellent news as they are already an active and experienced Certified Solution Partner of 1WorldSYNC, the GS1 US data pool service.
