Clifford Hallam Healthcare Pty Ltd (CH2), a leading wholesaler and distributor of healthcare products and services in Australia will begin using GAINS from GRA later this year.  

Australian supply chain consulting firm GRA adds CH2 to their list of blue-chip clients who are using their flagship forecasting and planning software.  

With revenues of approximately $800m and over 15,000 products, CH2 is Australia’s largest pharmaceutical and medical healthcare service provider. The company’s 8,000 plus customers are located throughout Australia in metropolitan, regional and country areas, and include public and private hospitals, aged care facilities, primary care facilities and veterinarians.  

GRA Partner, Carter McNabb says that the forecasting and planning tool, GAINS is a powerful software that helps its users achieve substantial inventory reductions, reduced operating costs and increased service levels.  

With Symbion and now CH2 on board, GAINS is planning and optimising a significant proportion of pharmacy and hospital distribution across Australia, he added.

Tim Cosgrave, National Procurement Manager for CH2 said that they selected GAINS because of GRA’s impressive track record of delivering results to their clients. After exploring several options in the market, CH2 zeroed in on GAINS as it met their requirements for planning and implementation.  

According to Mr Cosgrave, financial performance and working capital efficiency are important to their shareholders, but customer service levels are critical to their position in the industry.
