WELDING experts at German contract manufacturing company Kinkele have reported very good results when using the TIME 5000 Digital welding system from Fronius .

Managing director Friedrich Kinkele, who represents the fourth generation of the family, puts his faith in the TIME 5000 Digital welding system.
These systems enable the welding team in Ochsenfurt to achieve deposition rates of up to 11kg/h. They extend significantly the power range for the manual joining of thicker sheets and offer all the advantages of digital systems: outstanding welding properties, 100% reproducibility, microprocessor control and a modular system concept.
Wilfried Lang, an experienced welder says Fronius TIG welding systems only use 75% of the energy compared to systems from other suppliers.
What particularly impresses him is the fact that the new TIME 5000 Digital achieves a manual wirefeed speed of 16 to 20m/min with 30 to 60mm sheet steel and fillet welds. When welding manually, the welders are now able to achieve a considerably higher adimension.
The TIME 5000 Digital satisfies the requirements of all users who want to achieve longer seam lengths and larger cross-sections when welding manually.
A 15 to 25mm long stickout supports the high-performance welding process, making possible higher wirefeed speeds and deposition rates.
Parameter records for numerous shielding gas mixtures can be stored in the new TIME 5000 Digital and simply called up using the Synergic function. The same applies to other process knowledge.
The modular system design also offers general benefits in terms of flexibility. Flexibility is also the key in terms of the materials.
Although the TIME process concentrates on low-alloy, unalloyed or low temperature resistant special steels, the user can also use the TIME 5000 Digital system to weld other materials, such as aluminium or CrNi steels.
