While the new bulk bag fillers are a lower cost alternative, they still encompass many of the features included in the high accuracy, high volume range.
These bulk bag fillers are designed to be located below a blender or sifter and to receive the contents of an entire batch for internal plant storage or movement to a packing line.
The bulk bag fillers can also be utilised for portable applications, allowing them to be used under multiple feed points.
Bulk bag strap hooks included with the fillers are height adjustable and will support bags weighing up to 2000kg while filling is in progress.
Once the bulk bag is positioned on a pallet, the base elongates to allow for settlement of the contents.
The inlet spout of the bulk bag or liner is attached to Fresco’s single actuated spout filling head, providing a secure dust tight seal.
Fresco bag inflators can optionally be fitted to these bulk bag fillers to inflate bulk bags prior to filling. This removes creases and folds which could cause irregular filling of bags and make them unstable.
The venturi type bag inflator has no moving parts, reducing the need for maintenance. It is also fully sealed by a pneumatically actuated butterfly valve during the bag filling process.
Displaced air is vented to a dust collector or vent sock during the bag filling process.
These bulk bag fillers are available in various standards of finish, such as full stainless steel or stainless steel contact parts only.
