The Maxi-CUBE rollback lead trailer from Freighter
was selected by Detour Logistics to be added to their fleet of refrigerated vans.
A mid-sized freight company based out of Silvan in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges, Detour Logistics operates a fleet of 15 B-Doubles to deliver dairy and produce to the local market and across the Eastern seaboard.
Detour Logistics Managing Director, Colin Beer was looking to upgrade his fleet of refrigerated vans with quality trailers that would go the distance and also represent good value. When he discovered the new improved Maxi-CUBE rollback with its inbuilt rail protection feature, he knew he had to look no further.
Brett Smith, MaxiTRANS Victorian Dealership’s Northern Region Sales Manager introduced Colin to the new Maxi-CUBE rollback lead trailer and its latest improvements. Brett explains the new rollback has been designed with a powerful hydraulic system that helps deliver smooth movement of the body over the chassis. When set in the forward position for transit as a B-double, the body weight is lifted off the rollers to extend roller life and durability.
Colin agrees that the new design will keep the rollback lead trailers out of the repair shop and on the road, translating into more revenue for the business. Colin was also very happy that the MaxiTRANS Victorian dealership was willing to work to his budget while offering him excellent value proposition.
After originally ordering six B-double sets, Colin is so happy with the vans that he has increased the order to ten.
