Ai Scientific will show the CEM SMART Trac Fat and Moisture Analyser, which is now an approved methodology by the Association of Analytical Communities (AOAC) International.

The SMART Trac System couples high performance NMR technology with the reliable drying capability and versatile analytical software of the SMART Systems to create a fat and moisture analyser designed to yield fast, accurate results without solvents or ongoing calibration.

This instrument can determine both free and chemically bound fat, which previously could only be measured using labour-intensive conventional methods.

Unlike indirect methods, changes in the texture, colour or uniformity of the sample do not affect the accuracy of the SMART Trac System.

Intuitive system software manages the analysis and can store up to 100 methods and 300 results.
