SIXTY years after the invention of the world’s first skinning machine, Townsend has again set the standard in skinning machine design and performance with the release of the new Townsend SK11-300 Series Open-Top Skinner.
This release offers the following improvements to Townsend skinners of the past: sanitation enhancements, reduced maintenance and operation costs and ergonomic optimisation.
The three models available include an open top derinder for removal of thick hides from round products, a membrane skinner for the removal of thin skins or membranes and a skinner that uses a second adjustable blade holder for simultaneous removal of thick skins and separation of a fat layer.
No tools are required to breakdown the machine for cleaning and it can be ordered with an additional height altering attachment.
