FLUKE has added six new temperature probes to its line of SureGrip accessories. The new line consists of probes for taking measurements of air, liquids, large surfaces, small areas and insulation covered surfaces.
They are designed for plant technicians, HVAC/R professionals, electricians, process manufacturing technicians and laboratory technicians who use digital thermometers and multimeters with temperature functions.
Each probe features Fluke's SureGrip design, with soft rubber handles and ergonomic shapes that make them easy to grasp and use to make contact with target surfaces. All SureGrip probes also have sturdy, flexible strain relief for a long life.
The 80PK-22 SureGrip Immersion Temperature Probe is a 8.375-inch probe made from Alloy 600. It intended for general purpose measurement as well as in liquids and gels. It has a range of -40°C to 1090°C and is compatible with K-Type instruments.
The 80PK-24 SureGrip Air Temperature Probe has a perforated baffle around the measurement bead for air and non-caustic gas measurements. It has an 8.5-inch probe made from Inconel with a range of -40°C to 816°C. It is compatible with K-Type instruments.
The 80PK-25 and 80PT-25 SureGrip Piercing Temperature Probes are intended for general food service applications and are designed for use in soft or semi-hard materials. The 80PK-25 is compatible with K-Type instruments with a range of -40°C to 260°C while the 80PT-25 is compatible with T-Type instruments, with a range of -196°C to 350°C. Both have soft rubber handles that can be cleaned with soap and water and 4-inch probes made from 316 stainless steel.
The 80PK-26 SureGrip Tapered Temperature Probe is intended for general purpose surface and air measurements and is compatible with K-Type instruments. It has an 8-inch probe made from 304 stainless steel with a range of -40° to 816°C.
The 80PK-27 SureGrip Industrial Surface Temperature Probe is a heavy-duty probe for flat or slightly curved surfaces. It has a low conductivity stainless steel housing, that minimises thermal shunting. It is compatible with K-Type instruments, has an 8-inch probe made from 300 stainless steel and covers a temperature range from -127°C to 600°C.
