Based on the established 5500 Series MPC, 5500E precision calibrators offer solid value for customers that have a basic yet varied workload, with a better performance specification in the more popular and flexible 5500 series instrument platform.
The 5500E has a wide range of outputs available from a single calibration source, including:
- DC and AC voltages up to 1020 V
- DC and AC currents up to 550 A (using the 5500A/COIL, 50 turn current coil accessory); and
- variable resistances up to 330 MÙ.
Thermocouples and RTDs can be simulated for temperature calibration applications, and thermocouple signals measured.
The 5500E also generates digitally synthesised extended bandwidth sine, truncated sine, triangle and square waveforms.
The intuitive design of Fluke 5500E precision calibrators reduces references to the manual, and for most tasks the users’ hand moves from left to right, keeping them from having to make long, uncomfortable movements.
Optional Microsoft Windows-based Fluke metrology software can ensure that documentation, control and reporting requirements are met by simplifying the documentation of procedures, adequacy and traceability.
