FLUKE Australia has introduced the 561/HVACPro two-in-one thermometer. The 561/HVACPro adds to Fluke’s family of state-of-the-art contact and non-contact temperature measurement tools.
Designed specifically for HVAC professionals the 561/HVACPro provides two products in one. One per cent accurate infrared temperature measurement combined with a contact thermometer for K-type thermocouples eliminates the need for technicians to carry two tools.
The infrared non-contact temperature measurement gives instant readings of hard-to-reach, hot, rotating or electrically charged objects.
Conveniently there is no need to shut down the tool while an IR reading is in process, and a laser system guides measurements so that they can be made at a safe distance meaning no need for a ladder.
The infrared temperature measurement provides accurate readings from a wide variety of objects by allowing for a range of techniques such as:
* Spot – to measure the absolute surface.
* Temperature differential – when comparing two different spots.
* Scanning – detecting changes along a wide object.
The thermocouple K contact measurement is designed to measure pipes, metallic objects and air streams. Specially designed Fluke K-type probes can be used with the 561/HVACPro, or technicians can leverage existing tool investments by using their own industry-standard thermocouple K special purpose probes.
Fluke’s 561/HVACPro incorporates other specially designed features for the HVAC industry. An easy emissivity selector provides more accurate readings of shiny objects often a problem for industry professionals. The tool can also scan a large amount of objects quickly and efficiently.
