Global leader in portable electronic test and measurement equipment, Fluke Corporation is awarding Fluke tools to the Australian winners of the WorldSkills 2011 competition held recently in London.
WorldSkills London 2011 was a major international skills competition and careers event with young people from 51 countries and regions competing to be the best of the best in their chosen skill.
The Australian winners are:
- Benjamin Houghton, gold in the electrical installations category, who will be awarded a Fluke 87V Industrial Digital Multimeter, TL81A Electronic Test Lead Set and a C550 Tool Bag
- Liam Janetzki, silver in the refrigeration and air conditioning category, who will be awarded a Fluke 87V Industrial Digital Multimeter and a C550 Tool Bag
- Ben Hooper, Michael Theobald and Matthew Hall, bronze in the manufacturing team challenge, who will each be awarded a Fluke 87V Industrial Digital Multimeter
On behalf of Fluke Australia , Henk van Velze, acting managing director congratulated the Australian representatives that attended WorldSkills 2011 and received honours in their respective skills categories.
