For electronics technicians, the combo kit includes the Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics multimeter with TrendCapture, FlukeView Forms software and cable, the 80BK-A temperature probe, CAT III 1000 V 10 A modular test leads and test probes, CAT II 300 V 5 A alligator clips and a soft case.
Fluke Corporation’s 28X-series digital multimeters (DMMs) incorporate advanced test and measurement capabilities that include:
- TrendCapture, which lets the user record events and display the results on the display screen built into the Fluke 287 and 289 DMMs.
- Data logging lets the user to record measurements (up to 15,000 events over time) in the meter, before downloading the results to a PC. With data logging, the user can continue to gather information, even while getting work done at another location.
- Minimum/maximum/average measurement, which lets users capture values and see fluctuations in signal levels as well as the elapsed time clock, which timestamps the highest, lowest and average values. The timestamp indicates exactly when these readings occurred.
