Fluke Australia has launched a new family of four true-rms digital multimeters (DMMs) designed to meet the requirements of specific application areas.
Fluke 117 multimeter is designed specifically for electricians and is suited for use in commercial settings such as buildings, hospitals and schools.
Features include:
* VoltAlert non-contact voltage detection, a technology designed to quickly sense the presence of AC voltage, eliminating the need to carry another tool
* Visual indicators to determine proper grounding
* Auto-V automatic volts detection, eliminating guesswork by automatically determining AC/DC voltage
* A new low impedance (LoZ) input function to help prevent false readings due to ghost voltage.
Fluke 116multimeter is designed for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialists. Fluke 116 has a built-in thermometer and microamps measurement capability designed to help professionals quickly troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and flame sensors.

* Measurement of superheat and subcooling
