Fluke Australia has released a one-button troubleshooter for single mode fibre optic networks. The Fibre Oneshot has one of the furthest reaches in its class, testing access network links up to 24 km. The Fibre Oneshot can also increase telecom technician productivity by 30%. “Fibre OneShot PRO makes it possible for a technician with very little training to find the most common faults impacting fibre network performance, from detecting bad splices and breaks to finding severe macro and microbends,” said Wayne Allen, program manager at Fluke Australia.
“Fibre OneShot PRO is designed to be that ‘first response’ tool for all single mode fibre optic network applications worldwide.”
Fibre Oneshot ensures there are products at all ends of the spectrum and compliments fibre optic network troubleshooting tools currently in the market from Visual Fault Locators (VFL) to Optical Domain Reflectometers (OTDRs).
Fibre Oneshot decreases servicing time for customers and is a great first-response fibre diagnostic tool.
